Beati Mortui - Industrial/Electro band from Helsinki, Finland.

Combination of dark electronic atmospheres, danceable beats with diverse female vocals to express landscapes of life and the many sides of it.

Musical influences from gothic, ebm, industrial, electro and metal genres. Lyrics deal with personal experiences and real life observations.

Beati Mortui was formed at year 2005 in Helsinki, Finland.

The idea of Beati Mortui was born at year 2005 when Sami and Maria started writing songs and planning concept for an electro/industrial band with dark and melancholic influences.

At early 2006 Lilitha joined the Mortui league and the three started composing, practicing and recording songs with tighter pace. Style started to form into sound which now could be described as dark dance music.

The band started to look for a guitarist to bring more aggression and live elements into sound. Jarno joined the band in summer 2006 being Sami's old bandmate in former projects.

During winter 2006 and spring 2007 the band finalized their first 6-song promotional recording. Promo 2007 called Modus Operandiwas released in summer and is targeted for labels, magazines, producers and dj's around world.

During summer and autumn 2007 BM is composing and recording new songs, rehearsing for live set and planning the concept of appearance on stage.
